In celebration of 40 years of the legendary Mayday Run bike1066 and Swinton Insurance have created a BREAKOUT ZONE right in the heart of Hastings’ Old Town seafront on the Stade open space. A unique space where bikers and families can just come and enjoy some great biking entertainment, great food and a great day by the seaside. It will be loud and noisy but great fun.

Saturday 5th May - 1100 – 1400 The Stade Open Space: Morris Men and Motorcycles - for the first time ever the two great events in Hastings - bike1066 Welcome to the Mayday Run and Jack in the Green – the traditional folk festival welcome to the Spring - have come together to jointly celebrate. The Morris Sides (teams) will experience the Wall of Death and the bikers can enjoy the music and dancing of the Morris Sides - MORRIS is an old ENGLISH tradition that we fully support and encourage as a way of protecting and developing ENGLISH folk culture – come an enjoy.
Saturday 5th May – 1800 – 1900 GUY MARTIN WALL OF DEATH – an exclusive screening of the documentary of how Guy Martin created a Wall of Death Speed record – introduced by Ken Fox – the man who trained guy for the record attempt – a unique experience – Watch the documentary while the real Wall of Death is active there with you.
